Members of the Edmonton Airsoft Regiment get prepared for the operation Palliser Military Simulation. Airsoft is a sport where players dress up as military operators and compete as teams to complete objectives.

This Photo was shot right as I arrived at the event, this was a decent experience in getting the “shots in the bag”. I snapped off a couple of shots, and then realised I would not be able to take my camera with me in the field without destroying it in this weather. The game was great fun, Extreme heat caused heat stroke to set in for me however even while drinking a lot of water. Taught me a lot about myself and what to do for later situations. I hope to play an airsoft game soon as an “embedded photojournalist”.
