Today we woke up to rain, we camped just outside Hinton. We broke camp in the rain and headed into town for a few forgotten supplies and breakfest. Today we head out south on the forestry trunk road.

Well today we leave for our Jeep Road trip. We are travelling west to Hinton then south along the forestry trunk road. I am bringing my camera so expect some decent photos eventually.

Also I have now started to work on my little video project. Starting to get things gathered to get it ready to start the actual production. More to come later.

Sitting down for lunch today I saw two guys laying outside in the shadey part of the lawn. They where taking photos of this bird with their camera phone. I took this right after they left. Today sort of sucks I work 10:30 to 7:30 which sucks normally, however I came in at open (8:30) so I got to be here longer then neccesary. Tomorrow I get to work 12:00 to close 9:00, which also sucks. Ohwell that’s today update from my iPhone.

First post to my blog with my iPhone! The iPhone crashed on me today but there was an update I installed which appears to have worked just fine. Intact the new WP app update appears to have solved my issues I was having with my blog.

The website is undergoing some changes. I am building a website thats devided into more content areas. I’m currently working on layout and design. Hopefully I can come up with something. Currently I am hitting a complete Roadblock. I updated the software on the blog because I wanted to be able to post to this from my new iPhone, but it doesn’t appear to want to cooperate (the app seems to suck a little bit, cant seem to connect).

I decided to repaint betty, because the old colour was frankly pretty ugly on a jeep. Turns out the entire tub is coated in bondo as well, its all quite terrible I also have now noticed that the bedliner is fading in the sun. I guess i need to rip the jeep apart at some point and sandblast the entire tub. so that i can repaint it and line it properly

I have a batch of photos I will be posting from very shortly I just have been just very busy at my new job. In a personal note I have been speaking with some of my coworkers which has further inspired me to do more photography and to further pursue my dreams.

Sorry guys, Lots of changes going on in the life atm. I got a new job, a vehicle, and I am trying to build some semblance of social life.

Here is a photo of my jeep, a 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sits in a snow covered field. At home off road the 1992 Wrangler expects to get some new upgrades in the near future that will raise it 6 inches to allow it to also get 35 inch tires. Seen here with the original Aluminum wheels and all season tires.

Normally you would think a post like this to start chronologically, start by looking backwards, then move forwards. I however don’t wish to look back, not anymore, not for a little bit. I tend to count myself as someone without regret, however I have realised that I have been dwelling in the past lately wallowing over my mistakes. I made a realisation today, well actually I have made allot lately. I realised first and foremost other then wallowing in my mistakes (albeit not in self pity) that I have been very crass and very rude towards people that I do care about, I have become far too jaded. I don’t go out enough, I don’t pursue the things I actually care about.

I have decided that moving forward I am going to push forward with a greater intensity. The things in my life that have been slowing me down are starting to clear up, I have a new job doing something that I believe I will enjoy more, I am buying a vehicle so I will have more freedom and be able to go more places. I am  going to start focusing more on my photography. Study the basics and actually learn the technicalities of the science to the art that is photography. I am adding a new category to the blog, Photojournalism, All the old posts are being re categorized to add that category, and photos that are just photos are going to get categorized into the type of photo they are (landscape, still life, Photo Concepts, etc).

Thank you to the few who read, I feel bad for not posting enough so I’ll try to make it up to you. Expect more regular updates on the same day of the week, I’m thinking possibly Fridays. A new layout is also in the works.
