This is a quick post I just wanted to say a few personal non-photo related things in. First off, I want to mention the fires in California. I am far and safe from them myself being that I live in Canada. However my heart goes out to those who are stuck in that mess. I personally wish that I could be down there, I feel that the sense of adventure inside of me is what is driving me towards photojournalism as a career. I know that the area is devistated and they probebly don’t need anymore people down there, however I feel that one more lens snapping photos of what is going on. I have been watching the news on CNN and such interspersed and the moving video is bad, but the still photos they flash has had a much greater impact. I tried to find the particular photo but was unable too. If anyone finds it please link me. It is a photo of a young woman standing with a garden hose. The look on her face is so packed with emotion.
